Our Mission

Just a short time ago a good friend of mine

bumped into someone he knew at a grocery store

and this person didn't appear to be doing too well,

with a little prodding and question asking it was discovered

that this person had been only taking half a tablet

every other day of her prescription

and had finally run out all together, and was buying peanut butter

and "reduced for quick sale" items for groceries.

"Have to stretch my last couple dollars till my next check

comes in sometime the following week."

This my friend just should NOT be happening in America!

My friend bought her some groceries and took her to the Pharmacy and had her medication prescription refilled and helped the best he could.

After being told this story

and understanding that this winter is going to be even worse

for many people with the high cost of heat

and the ever rising cost of food and health care,

Eating, Heating, & Health

was formed,

and this my friends is what drives us to accomplish

our mission of helping a few people that are in the same position

as the lady in the grocery store.

People who have worked their entire lives,

lived through the good and bad times,

have never asked for help and never will.

Well we know of few people in our town

and you may know of a few in your town,
